STERILISATION SYSTEM FOR GENERAL SURGICAL ROBOT – approx £190,000

Hampshire Medical Fund has committed to funding vital cleaning and sterilising equipment for a state-of-the-art General Surgical Robot that Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is driving to bring to Basingstoke hospital.

This will include:

V-PRO™ maX 2 Low Temperature Sterilisation System

Provides fast, low-temperature sterilisation for delicate instruments that can’t withstand high heat. Processing up to 22.7kg in just 28 minutes, it maximises efficiency and helps surgical teams treat more patients safely every day.

InnoWave™ Unity Ultrasonic Irrigator
Uses powerful sonic cleaning and irrigation to remove debris from intricate surgical tools such as laparoscopic and orthopaedic devices. With capacity for up to 16 lumened devices per cycle, it boosts efficiency and precision in decontamination.

AMSCO™ 7053HP Washer Disinfector
Combines high-speed powerful performance with low water use. Processing up to 300 trays per day using just 117 litres per cycle, it ensures tools are clean, sterile, and ready for use—supporting faster turnaround and safer procedures.
