This dermoscopy equipment will be attached to an existing medical photography camera and provide gold standard care for the diagnosis and monitoring of skin cancer. Skin cancer is the fifth most prevalent cancer in the UK and rising. Patients will even be given high resolution imagery enabling a degree of self-monitoring where appropriate. To have this equipment in all our three hospitals will change and save lives with immediate effect.
