What type of gift can I leave?
You can choose the type of legacy gift that feels right for you:
A percentage share of your estate
This can be as small or as large as you choose. It is often the most valuable way to give, as it keeps its value over time and adjusts with inflation. Even a tiny percentage can make a significant impact.
A specific gift
This could be an item such as jewellery, artwork, property or another valuable possession.

A fixed sum of money
You may choose to leave a specific amount, known as a pecuniary gift.
How your legacy will be used
As with all donations we receive, you can choose how your gift is used. You may wish to support a particular hospital, (Basingstoke, Winchester or Andover NHS hospitals). Alternatively, you may be happy for your gift to be allocated to our general equipment fund and used towards the piece of equipment we are closest to funding. Once each item is fully funded, it is purchased — often meaning that within weeks, lives across our community are being improved, and sometimes even saved, as a direct result of your support. All funds are allocated to equipment approved by our medical trustees, ensuring your legacy has a direct and lasting impact.
