Fundraising for Hampshire Medical Fund
Setting up a JustGiving page
If you’re fundraising on behalf of the Hampshire Medical Fund, setting up a JustGiving page to share with friends and family is often the easiest way to collect donations.
Simply visit our JustGiving page here and click on the “Start Fundraising Button” on the right hand side of the page and follow the instructions provided.
Including a short story about why you are fundraising for the Hampshire Medical Fund helps friends and family understand your motivation — and often encourages more people to donate.
What can you fundraise for?
As with any donation, the money you raise can be directed towards a specific piece of medical equipment if you wish. You can see what we are currently fundraising for on our Equipment Wish List here.
If you are collecting money through JustGiving, simply state on your page which piece of equipment you are supporting and we will ensure your donation is directed accordingly. If you are sending funds to us directly, just let us know how you would like your donation to be allocated.
Alternatively, if you prefer to support the charity more generally, your fundraising will be allocated to our general fund and used towards the piece of equipment we are closest to funding. Once each item is fully funded, it is purchased — often meaning that within weeks, lives across our community are being improved, and sometimes even saved, as a direct result of your support.
Over-funding: In the event that donations received towards a particular piece of equipment exceed the cost of that item, any surplus funds will be transferred to the charity’s general equipment fund and used towards the next item we are closest to funding.
