The North Hampshire Medical Fund’s first ever Cross Country Fun Ride was held on Sunday 29th October. It was a tremendous success with a turnout of over 300 riders raising just over £7,000, this money will go towards funding one of three ultrasound machines required in Maternity and a retinal laser in Ophthalmology.

This was a very special event as competitors were able to ride across the beautiful Watership Down and adjoining farm land, plus the unique opportunity to ride across the Lloyd Webber’s Estate. A huge thank you to the Balding Family and Lord & Lady Lloyd Webber for making this an exceptional day. Thank you also to SpindleTree Photography for coming on the day and taking the most wonderful photos and to Park Farm Oakley for the generous sponsorship.

One competitor said “It was such a great ride and highly organised.” Another said “Well done, it was an excellent day, very pleased you raised so much for a great cause.”
