EVENT OUTCOME – Two Smoking Barrels Clay Pigeon Shoot raises funds for Endoscopy Camera

There was some sharp shooting at our annual ‘Two Smoking Barrels Clay Pigeon Shoot’ in October! A beautifully bright and dry day at Frobury Farm Shooting Ground saw 30 teams take to the stands to show their stuff and enjoy a fun day out, all whilst raising funds for the Hampshire Medical Fund.

As a result of the funds raised at the event, we have been able to purchase not only one, but two pieces of medical equipment; a Wireless Endoscope Camera to investigate potential cancers of the ear, nose or throat to lesions, ulcers and more.

Also, an incredible Bariatric PPAM Aid which will improve assessment and treatment for patients who have had an above or below the knee leg amputation and allow them to start walking just 7 – 10 days after surgery, which will vastly expedite and improve recovery and healing.

Thank you to our wonderful headline sponsor Prime Purchase, as well as our sponsors R W Armstrong, Moundsmere Estate Management Ltd, NFU North Hampshire, The Jag Shop, Westech Cars, and Butler & Co Accounts.

Also to our incredible event committee; Angus Sladen, Paul Oldring, Sarah Daly, Nigel Armstrong and Tamsin Raymond, and of course to all of our event volunteers and participants, all helping us to support our Hampshire Hospitals.
