The numbers are in and we’ve done the sums and we are THRILLED to announce that this year the Hampshire Country & Garden Festival has raised a staggering £55,000! This will enable the Hampshire Medical Fund to buy, not one, but TWO Sentimag Systems for the Breast Surgery departments of Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals, enabling patients to no longer have a wire fitted to the breast before Surgery. This will ensure that the patient’s experience won’t be so harrowing, will allow more accurate localisation of breast lumps and enable timetabling to be more efficient across both hospitals.
